How do I restore my purchase on a new Mac?
Simply download Texty again from the Mac App Store using the same Apple ID — your purchase will be restored automatically. You can also use the "Restore Purchase" option within the app.
Does Texty work offline?
Yes! Texty is a fully native macOS application and works completely offline. The only exception is Apple's Writing Tools integration on macOS 15+, which may require an internet connection depending on the feature used. Everything else works without any network access.
How does Writing Tools integration work?
On macOS 15+, Texty integrates with Apple's system-wide Writing Tools. Simply select text and use the Writing Tools menu to proofread, rewrite, or summarize — no extra setup required.
